In many situations there is no need for you to appear before the Court. Most cases can be plea bargained – a slight increase in fine in exchange for a guilty plea to a non-moving violation (such as illegal parking). We then write you to let you know the results of your case. After your fine and court costs are paid, the traffic violation does not appear on your record, nor will you receive points on your license.
